1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the KO Pest Control website (the "Site") and the pest control services we provide (collectively, the "Services"). KO Pest Control ("KO Pest Control," "we," "us," or "our") is a family-owned pest control company based in Schofield, Wisconsin.

By accessing the Site, requesting a quote, scheduling service, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or Services.

2. Use of Website

Permitted Use

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes to learn about our pest control services, request quotes, schedule appointments, and contact us.

Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Site through automated means
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Site or its servers
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Upload, post, or transmit content that infringes intellectual property rights or is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site

3. Services

KO Pest Control provides residential and commercial pest control services in Central Wisconsin, including Wausau and surrounding communities. Service availability is subject to our service area, scheduling, and seasonal conditions.

Quotes provided online or by phone are estimates only. Final pricing is determined after an on-site inspection of the property and confirmation of the scope of work.

4. Appointments and Cancellations

• We request at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a service appointment.
• Late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) may incur a cancellation fee, as agreed at the time of booking or per our then-current rate schedule.
• Customers who are not present and have not given access at the scheduled time ("no-shows") may be charged a trip fee.

5. Payment Terms

• Payment is due upon service completion unless other arrangements have been made in writing.
• Recurring service plans (such as quarterly service) are billed quarterly.
• Past-due balances may incur late fees and, where permitted by law, interest. We reserve the right to suspend service for accounts in arrears.

6. Warranty / Service Guarantee

Quarterly service customers are covered by our standard 30-day re-treatment guarantee: if covered pests return within 30 days of a regular service visit, we will return and re-treat at no additional charge.

Specific warranty terms vary by service type (e.g., bed bugs, rodents, bats, wildlife, exclusion work). Warranty details applicable to your service will be described in your service agreement.

Warranties are void if the customer interferes with treatment, declines recommended follow-up services, or if conditions on the property change in a way that contributes to re-infestation (for example, new entry points, sanitation issues, or neighboring infestations).

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KO Pest Control will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of use, or property damage not directly caused by our negligence, arising out of or related to the Site or Services.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to a specific service shall not exceed the amount you actually paid to KO Pest Control for that specific service.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KO Pest Control and its owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your misuse of the Site or Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Marathon County, Wisconsin, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site or Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. SMS / Text Messaging Communications

If you opt in to receive text messages from KO Pest Control (for example, appointment reminders, service updates, or quote follow-ups), you can manage those messages at any time using the following commands:

• STOP — Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one final confirmation message and will not receive further texts unless you opt back in.
